Documents generated automatically

Generate documents in iDoklad automatically from your Shopify orders. You choose the moment for each document type: when an unpaid order is created, when it is paid, when it is fulfilled or when any order is created.

B2B with native VAT ID collection

Collect your business customers' DIČ natively at Shopify checkout. It goes onto the document, and EU business customers with a VAT ID get 0% VAT reverse charge documents.

SKUs on your documents

Show the product name, the SKU or both on your documents, and send the SKU to iDoklad's product code field.

Refunds and cancellations handled

Generate a credit note automatically when an order is partially or fully refunded, or when it is cancelled. Only the refunded items appear on the credit note.

Smart exceptions

Skip the orders you do not want a document for: orders with a given tag, POS orders, orders paid only with gift cards or orders with a zero total. You can also generate each document type for everyone, only for companies or only for individuals.

Taxes as on the order, including OSS

Tax rates and amounts go onto the document exactly as on the Shopify order. OSS is supported for EU cross-border sales to consumers when OSS mode is enabled in iDoklad and OSS is turned on in the app.

Which documents can the app generate in iDoklad?

Invoices, proforma invoices, sales receipts and credit notes. Optionally, a tax document is generated in iDoklad when a proforma gets paid. Sales receipts are generated when an order is paid.

Are documents generated automatically?

Yes. You choose the moment for each document type: when an unpaid order is created, when it is paid, when it is fulfilled or when any order is created. You can also generate any document except a credit note by hand from a Shopify order.

What happens when I refund or cancel an order?

A credit note is generated in iDoklad for partial and full refunds and for cancellations, linked to the invoice the app generated. Only the refunded items appear on it.

Does the app handle B2B, reverse charge and OSS?

Yes. Your customers can enter their DIČ at Shopify checkout and it appears on the document. EU business customers with a VAT ID get 0% VAT reverse charge documents, and OSS is supported for EU cross-border sales to consumers when OSS mode is enabled in iDoklad. OSS is not applied on proformas.

Which currencies are supported?

Documents are generated in the currency your customer paid in on Shopify, as long as iDoklad supports that currency.
